Eucharistic Ministers to the Sick provide spiritual and emotional support to those
who are sick or unable to attend Mass on Sunday.
We bring the Holy Eucharist and the Gospel to the sick and
homebound. Our ministers go
to Kaiser Medical Center and Sutter Solano Medical Center to bring
communion to hospital patients. We
also provide communion to private board and nursing homes.
The Ministers to the Sick also coordinate Masses each month at
Merrill Gardens, Evergreen Convalescent Center, and Sunbridge
Convalescent Hospital. Our members are encouraged to attend
Eucharistic Adoration every Friday, and seminars for spiritual growth.
We meet quarterly on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM in the Parish
Center.
