The St. Basil’s Altar Society is open to all women in the Parish.
The Altar Society performs numerous services for the Parish, and
has social events including regularly scheduled lunches and breakfasts.
The Altar Society meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each
month, at 1:30 PM in the Parish Center.
They also gather as a group for Mass once a quarter.
The Altar Society currently assists St. Basil’s Parish in the following ways:
cleaning and pressing vestments, cleaning the sacred
vessels, counts the money collected for candle donations, and assists
with mailings to parishioners. The
Society also provides fellowship and friendship for all members, and
extends a helping hand and good cheer for members who are ill.
