Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist serve the assembly by assisting
the priest in the distribution of the Body and Blood
of Christ. Sharing in the Eucharist is the heart of
Sunday for all baptized Catholics. Sunday
is the day when Christians remember the salvation that
was given to them in baptism and makes them new creations
in Christ Jesus gave us the gift of the Eucharist in
memory of his life anddeath. This
celebration make us all active members of his body.
A schedule
for Eucharistic Ministers is prepared in advance so you know ahead
of time when you are scheduled to serve.
If you cannot serve on the appointed day, please arrange
for a replacement.
There are currently nine teams of Eucharistic Ministers
and each team serves every other week.
