The Legion of Mary is an international association of Catholics who,
with the sanction of the Church, and under the powerful
leadership of Mary Immaculate, Mediatrix of all Graces,
work for their own sanctification and the sanctification of souls. There are active members
and auxiliary members.
Parishioners who join the
Legion of Mary commit themselves to the following:
Recite daily five decades of the rosary and a short Legion
prayer, faithfully and punctually attend a 1 ½ hour long weekly meeting
held on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM in the Parish Center,
and perform two hours of apostolic
work each week. Generally, the Legion of Mary is
available to do any work requested by the parish priest
in the form of social service and Catholic action.
