Teen Apostles in Christ is a spiritual organization
for teens and young adults in 9th grade through college. The
teens are trained as assistant catechists and help religious education
teachers in the classroom. They plan and lead sacramental and youth
retreats here at St. Basil, and at other parishes in our diocese. TAC
provides numerous other services to the parish.
A major project each year is the annual retreat for 8th graders. This
week-long camping retreat takes place in the summer months and prepares
newly confirmed teens to become Teen Apostles. The
retreat includes many spiritual presentations and skits, outdoor Mass,
and communal reconciliation. All teens in the parish are invited to join the Teen Apostles.
