St Basil Adult Confirmation Classes are designed for adults ages 18 and over. Those under 18yrs are to enroll in our Religious Ed Program.

Adults needing the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation need to enroll in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation)

Adult Confirmation Classes are those who have received their First Reconciliation and First Eucharist but not Confirmation.

The Class Sessions
are located in the Garrigan Room at 1:00pm.

 Confirmation Candidate is required
to attend all dates scheduled.

Confirmation Candidates please have your confirmation registration forms, copy of your baptismal certificate, and sponsor forms turn into the Religious Ed or Parish Center office.  Attention: Julie Kissinger

Each year, the Bishop of the Sacramento Diocese extends an opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation to practicing adult Catholics of the Diocese of Sacramento, who have received religious instruction, but for various reasons were never confirmed. For those adults who wish to be confirmed, St. Basil offers religious formation classes to prepare candidates for this Sacrament. 
 
To participate the candidate must be a baptized Catholic, who has received both First Reconciliation (First Confession), First Eucharist (First Communion) Sacraments, be either unmarried or in a marriage recognized as valid by the Catholic Church.  Have a recent copy of their Baptismal Certificate issued within the past 6 months, and have a Confirmation sponsor who must be a confirmed, practicing Catholic and at least 16 years of age.
