At Mass:
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) serve the assembly by assisting the priest in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ. Ministers must be Commissioned by the Pastor (or Parish Priest).
A schedule for EMs is prepared in advance so you know ahead of time when you are scheduled to serve. If you cannot serve on the appointed day, please arrange for a replacement. (see link below)
We have several teams of EMs whereby each team serves every other week. However due to last minute absences, kindly be prepared to serve at each mass you attend.
Check "Events" for date of next meeting. Parishioners interested in volunteering should contact the Ministry Leader, Flor Portacio.
Link to April ScheduleAll Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion and to the Sick and Homebound must receive training at their local parish and be commissioned by the Pastor (or Parish Priest). Persons who are not trained and commissioned cannot bring Holy Communion outside the Church.
Parishioners interested in volunteering should contact the Ministry Leader, Vilma Jeffries Macalalad.
Members must attend quarterly meetings to stay abreast of news and issues. Contact the team leader if you are not able to attend. See the Events calendar for date, time and location of the next meeting.
